Painting Party
This outdoor party is sure to be a hit, especially with the younger children.
Invitations Cut out a paintbrush and add: Stop by our studio and help us paint the town. CHILD’S NAME is celebrating a colorful birthday.
Decorations This party is more about preparation than decoration. You will need to start gathering large boxes (check with furniture and appliance stores) a couple of weeks before the party. These boxes will be used to construct houses, cars, space ships and more. Hit your local dollar store and load up on cheap paintbrushes. Gather all those butter tubs you’ve been saving and prepare to paint. You will need lots of paint so buy it in large quantities rather than in individual containers. Be sure guests are instructed to “dress for mess’ when you invite them.
Activities Painting the town will be all the entertainment the kids will need. They will have a great time when they realize they are being given full permission to fling, dribble, and splatter paint everywhere (including at each other!). This is their day to be creative so the less boundaries and instructions they are given, the better!
Party Favors Send
