Superhero Party

Superhero Birthday Party – Great for Hulk, Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Batgirl or any other favorite super hero!

Invitations

Several Superhero invitations are available on Birthday Express. Invite your guests to come dressed as their favorite superhero.

Decorations

Green balloons and streamers will match a Hulk theme, blue & red decorations match a Spiderman theme (spider webs made out of twisted white streamers) and black & gold decorations will match a Superman theme. Pick a different color for each room in the house or divide one party room into sections with the decoration colors.

Make a city scape/city movie scene with a moving spotlight, gray tablecloth, and confetti on table, with sound tracks from different movies in the background. Create a homemade jail for the villains.

Food/Cake

A super hero dinner meeting would not be complete without super hero nachos, pizza and punch. Use green Hulk punch and Spiderman pizza (place plastic spider rings on the pizza for effect). Bat cookies are also a great treat!

Games & Activities

Pin the handcuffs on the villains

Draw or copy a large picture of your favorite villain(s). Cut out paper handcuffs for each guest. Blindfold each guest and spin him or her and have them place their handcuff on the villains. The guest closest to the villain is the winner.

Super Hero Charades

Before the party, write several characters from Superhero movies on separate pieces of paper. Have each child select one character and act it out in font of the others. If the other guests can not guess who the character is then the Superhero can start giving clues i.e. "I wear red, I can climb walls, etc.

Musical Chairs to Spiderman, Superman or Hulk soundtracks.

Treasure Hunt

The Joker (or any other villain) has stolen the secret formula. Divide the group of children into two or three teams. Hide various clues in the yard that lead the children to the secret formula. The secret formula can be a hiding place for the birthday cake or the presents.

Superhero Arm Wrestling – Have the different Superheroes arm wrestle each other to see who is the strongest Superhero at your party.

Favors

Comic Books, plastic handcuffs, Superhero fruit snacks and tattoos of superheroes will make a great goody bag.
