Space

Let your child sleep under the stars and planets every night with these great space bedroom ideas.

Walls:

The walls can be painted with a light blue color and accented with clouds.  Another option would be to paint a solar system mural on the walls.  The ceiling should be painted a dark blue to resemble the sky.  Glow-in the dark stars and planets can be adhered to the ceiling, walls and doors that actually makes turning the lights off at night fun for kids.

Accessories:

Have your child make a paper mache solar system to hang from the ceiling. Don’t forget the sun and the moon.  Shiny silver shower curtains can be used as window treatments.  Many comforter sets are available that have glow-in-the dark stars on them.  Any framed posters or pictures of space will finish the room and have your child thinking they are out of this world.
